Clean Eating Spiced Apple Cider

Forget that store bought cider!
 
 
(Makes 2 Servings)
 
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 cinnamon stick
  • 6 Black pepper corns
  • 6 Whole Cloves
  • Zest of 1/2 an orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
 
 
Directions:
  1. If using fresh apples, wash, cut and juice them.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-20 minutes, depending on how strong you like your cider.
  4. Pour juice through a fine-meshed sieve, into a mug.  Allow to cool slightly.
