Clean Eating Chipotle Burrito Bowl

Although Chipotle has been a nearby restaurant, my husband and I never had any interest in going there.  I am not a huge Mexican eater and I just assumed I wouldn't care for it.  Well, a few weeks ago we decided to give it a try and OH MY GOODNESS!  It was delicious!  I prefer the burrito bowl, so, I decided to check out the nutrition facts online.  While the toppings that I personally get aren't all that terrible for you, the sodium content is through the roof!  I actually figured out that I was eating about 1600 mg of sodium in one burrito bowl!  YIKES!

Naturally, I decided to re-create my own "cleaner" version  :) So, I gave it a try last night and sure enough, it passed my husbands approval and is yet another addition to our dinner rotation list!

Clean Eating Burrito Bowl, Chipotle Burrito Bowl
Burrito Bowl

Ingredients: (Makes about 5-6 burritos)
* Mix of red and green Bell peppers (I also added in a yellow pepper)
* 1 Sweet Red Onion
* Brown Rice
* 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 1 can of black (reduced sodium) or pinto beans
* 2-3 tomatoes, diced, OR, you could use Homemade Salsa
* 100% Whole Wheat Tortillas (if wanting to make burritos)
* Cilantro
* Lime Juice
* Lemon Juice
* Garlic
* Sea Salt
* Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions For Rice:
Cook rice according to package. After cooking, mix in the juice from a small lime, plus, two tsp of freshly chopped cilantro, a dash of sea salt, and a squirt of lemon juice.

Directions For Fajita Mix:
Chop up peppers and half a sweet red onion. Heat skillet with 1 Tbsp of EVOO.  Add in peppers, onion, and 1 Tbsp of fresh Oregano and stir-fry until soft.

Directions For Chicken:
Grill chicken and chop in to chunks.  I seasoned my chicken with Mrs. Dash's Fiesta Lime (salt-free) seasoning.  You could also season it with garlic and some fresh lemon juice.

Directions For Beans:
Cook beans until soft and then simmer with 1/4 cup water, 2 Tbsp chopped onion, 2 Tbsp garlic, and 2 Tbsp oregano. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes or so.

Directions for Guacamole (I did not make this; however, I found this clean version and thought I'd share.  These ingredients are not a part of the main ingredients listed above):
Mash an avocado with 1/4 cup chopped sweet red onion, 1/2 of a chopped jalapeno, 1 Tbsp of fresh chopped cilantro, and a squirt of juice from both a lemon and a lime.

Ok, whew!  It really looks like a lot more work than it is!  Once you have everything made, mix it all together and top with chopped tomatoes or homemade salsa and guacamole!  If you are wanting to make burritos, heat up the tortillas, spoon on desired amount of mixture, and roll it up!

Enjoy!

PiYO Week 6 with a 21 Day Fix Meal Plan!

PiYO, Meal Planning, Clean Eating, 21 Day Fix, T25, 21 Day Fix Meal PlanGood Morning!  Can you believe that it is almost the end of August and "Back to School" week is quickly approaching?!  I know several teachers have already started their Inservice days and I've noticed all of the kiddos in the neighborhood outside enjoying their last days of Summer, well, when it isn't raining of course! So, with school starting back up several family schedules are about to get a lot crazier!  Fall sports, dance classes, and after school activities will soon be starting.  Back are the evenings of rushing to get dinner ready, the family fed, homework complete, and early bedtimes.  Having said that, are you worried that you "me" time will soon be disappearing?  As a mom, I understand how easy it is to put full focus on your family.  That's what I do!  BUT, I also MAKE SURE that I get some time to myself.  I make sure that I have some time on the weekends to get my meal plan done for the week.  I make sure that I have some food prepped and ready to go, making the week go so much more smoothly.  I make sure that I am able to get my daily exercise in because after all, 30 minutes of the ENTIRE DAY isn't THAT long, right?!

So, as I enter Week 7 of PiYO, I have realized that my Summer fitness program is coming to an end.  Two weeks and I will officially  be a PiYO graduate!  If you follow me at all, then you may be thinking, wait, shouldn't you be on Week 8 by now?  Guess what.....YOU'RE RIGHT!  Ahh!!!  Ok so I had a little set back.  It happens, right?!  Life just got a bit too much in the way for me a couple of weeks ago, so, I decided to stay fully committed to completing each week with 100 percent effort, which is why I decided to repeat Week 6.  I stuck with my meal plan and did the majority of my workouts, but, I did miss a couple and it wasn't feasible for me to double up, so, I figured I'd just start the week over.  As a result, I stayed true to my commitment and now have Week 6 under my belt. So, what's been going on with the past couple of weeks?! Well, I moved back to my 21 Day Fix meal planning schedule.  I love the nutritional end of the program, it works for me, so why change it?  In addition, I was able to add a couple of new snacks/meals to my rotation.  I made this DELICIOUS chicken and broccoli pasta the other day and it was a HUGE hit at my house!  We loved it so much that it is on the menu for this week too! Oh, and it makes for GREAT leftovers.  In addition, I decided to give my usual Greek Yogurt a bit of face lift!  I typically stick with strawberries and sometimes granola, but I decided to really make it a parfait by adding some blueberries and 1/4 cup of Corn Flakes.  I even put it in a fancy glass to eat out of.  It was funny because my 4 and 2 year old loved the look of it so much that they wanted one too!  So, I had to get their yogurt and put it in a fancy glass with some cornflakes and fruit.  Sure enough, they ate every last drop!  I didn't eat my yogurt this way EVERY day, but I did have it a couple of days last week.

So, here is my infamous meal plan that I followed.  It has my PiYO workouts and is planned out according to the 21 Day Fix plan.  Why?  Because that's what works for ME! I have to say, I did have a weekend camping trip thrown into the mix but I stayed pretty true to myself.  I brought along my healthy snacks and my Shakeology, and I was all set!  I allowed myself one cheat meal and yes, I did sneak a roasted marshmallow but other than that, I did great!  I like it to be known that I truly do practice what I preach.  Yes, I slip up and make mistakes sometimes.  No, I don't eat 100%  clean 100% of the time, but I focus on my nutrition at least 90% of my day.

21 Day Fix Meal Plan

What's my secret?  Well, it's this little gem in the picture below.  My Shakeology of course! Yes, I am going to talk a bit about Shakeology because I am absolutely in love with it! It has been well over a year since I have been drinking it and I can honestly say that I STILL look forward to it every single morning when I get up.  It has been my energy provider and cure for cravings for quite some time now.  I love getting my daily chocolate fix!  One of the perks of having Shakeology is that afternoon pick-me up!  In the past I would resort to a caffeinated latte but now, there is no need.  If I feel cravings coming on, or if I just need a little boost, I hit up an extra shake.  It doesn't have to act as a meal replacement, it can be a snack too!  When people ask about Shakeology the first objection I get is "it's too expensive."  When I finally made the commitment to join a challenge group and give Shakeology a try,  I too thought that it was too much money.  Then, once I started cleaning up my meals and becoming more knowledgeable about how to truly eat healthy (thanks to the Challenge Group of course), I realized that I really wasn't spending much more on my groceries when I added in my Shakeology.  I cut out all of the processed food and snacks that I used to buy (including the sugary cereals and bagels), and you know that Starbucks latte that I just referred to?  Yeah, I spent $4.00+ on it every time.   I spend $3.32 on my daily breakfast shake :)   And should I mention that the nutritional content between the latte and Shakeology doesn't even compare?!  Like, NOT AT ALL!  It all comes down to priorities and what you want to spend your money on.  So, I am grateful to have gotten over the price and realize that it isn't all that bad to fit in to my family's budget.

Okay, enough about that!  Let's talk PiYo workouts!

Throughout Week 6 I did:
* Drench - twice!
* Hardcore on the Floor
* Buns
* Sculpt
* Sweat

I am still loving the workouts and am really seeing a different in my arm definition, flexibility, and core strength.  Those tricep push ups are starting to grow on me!  Each week I am able to do more and more on my toes, rather than my knees!

PiYO, Meal Planning, Clean Eating, 21 Day Fix, T25, 21 Day Fix Meal PlanQuick funny story....so I was doing the Drench workout yesterday.  It is PiYO's longest workout.  Most of them average about 25-30 minutes but Drench is 45 minutes long.  My husband typically isn't home while I am working out, but since it is the weekend, he was around while I was doing Drench yesterday. I was five, maybe ten minutes in to the workout when he made the comment, "how are you going to even break a sweat doing that?"  I just ignored him, didn't make a comment and continued on.  I could tell he kept peeking over during my workout and he even mentioned the fact that I wasn't doing any sort of jumping or running.  At the end of the 45 minutes I was seriously DRIPPING with sweat.  He couldn't believe it!  Not only was I dripping sweat but I was out of breath too!

This program is NO JOKE!  If you are used to the intense cardio workouts like P90X3, Turbo Fire, T25, etc, PiYO fits right in there! Just because you aren't lifting weights, using resistance bands, and doing the traditional cardio of jumping and running, doesn't mean you can't get a good workout in.

So, with all of this back to school stuff going on, I challenge you with one request.  Don't put yourself on the back burner.  Make time in your schedule to take care of yourself, to make healthy choices, and not give up.  Be a positive role model in your family so that your kids, if you have any, know that just because life gets a little busy, it's not an excuse to just give up on living a healthy life.

Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken Wraps

Courtesy of my favorite website, The Gracious Pantry, I came across this Clean Eating Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken recipe.  I'm always looking for ways to spice up chicken, so I gave it a try!  Oh, and it was a crock pot recipe, so, double plus!  My family enjoyed the meal and I have now added it to our dinner rotation! They make great leftovers too!

What is Ezekiel Bread?

Good Afternoon!  So, an extremely common question that I get when I post a meal plan or picture of a breakfast / mid-morning snack, is "what is Ezekiel Bread?" I will admit, when I started my first challenge group, as a customer, my coach recommended that I switch to it rather than the traditional whole wheat bread I was using.  I swear it took me FOREVER to find it in the grocery store!  I knew it was in the freezer section and I would stroll up and down the freezer aisles looking each week, but, I never found it! I gave up, assuming that I needed to go to some fancy organic store to find it.  I then resorted to "Googling" it and sure enough, it was discovered!

So, let's clear one thing up.  Where in the world can you find Ezekiel Bread?!  Ok so I've ruled Walmart out of the mix.  Maybe a Walmart SOMEWHERE in the U.S. has it, but none of them around me do!  Two local chain grocery stores that I have around me are Giant Eagle and Martins.  In both of these places, you can find Ezekiel bread in the freezer section of the organic aisles.  While vacationing over the summer, I was able to find it in the same place at GIANT as well.  Of course, I'm sure Whole Foods, Costco, and other stores carry it, I just don't have those accessible around me.
Ezekiel Bread Benefits
Ezekiel Bread

Now that that is out of the way, you may be wondering, what in the world is it?!

Ezekiel Bread is made from organic, sprouted whole grains. The sprouting process is what makes this type of bread healthier.

Unlike traditional breads that contain refined wheat, pulverized whole wheat, and/or added sugar, Ezekiel bread has a unique combination of grains and legumes (and does not contain added sugar).

Grains: Wheat, Barley, Millet, Spelt
Legumes: Lentils, Soybeans

Sprouting, as in soaking the grains in water and allowing them to germinate, makes for a healthy choice.  Sprouted wheat breads have a low glycemic index and does not cause post-meal blood-sugar levels or blood-fat counts to spike upwards, which is great for diabetics.

In addition, the benefits are twofold:
1. Sprouting increases the amount of healthy nutrients.
2. Sprouting reduces the amount of harmful anti-nutrients.

Ezekiel Bread Benefits
Sprouted Bread

How is Ezekiel bread a benefit to you?
  • It is a great source of complete protein.
  • It contins 18 Amino Acids (including all 9 essential amino acids
  • It increases digestibility (due to the sprouting)
  • It increases absorption of Minerals (due to the sprouting)
  • It increases Vitamins B & C (sprouting produces vitamin C and increases B2, B5, and B6)
  • Obviously, it is a great source of Fiber, especially for one serving!

You can find all sorts of variety when it comes to Ezekiel bread.  There are English muffins, bread, buns, cereals, tortillas, pasta, and more!

Next time you are at the grocery store, I encourage you to give it a try!

Campfire S'Mores Popcorn

How could you not love anything with the word S'mores in it?!  Throughout the summer my family has had several campfires.  Yes, S'mores are definitely a part of them!  My husband is so obsessed that I went out and bought him an official S'more maker! I'm sure it isn't surprising to hear that they aren't that good for you!  I stumbled across this recipe from a random website while looking for new dinner ideas.  It is called Simply Taralynn. I knew right off the bat that this would be a big hit at my house so I made sure I had all of the ingredients so I could give it a try. Sure enough, I was right!  Everyone loved it!

2. Dump popcorn in to a microwave safe bowl and place a large marshmallow on top.
3. Microwave for 30 seconds.

Week 5 PIYO Progress Update - Meal Plan Included!

What is PiYO, Accountability Groups, Clean Eating, Meal Planning
NO MORE EXCUSES!

Happy Tuesday!  Transformation Tuesday to be exact!  So, I completed Week 5 of PiYO last week and am in the middle of Week 6 right now.  Because I was used to the 21 Day Fix, completing a 60 day program had me a bit worried.  I get bored with workouts easily and with the change of pace with Piyo I wasn't sure I would make it.  BUT, here I am, almost 6 weeks in, STILL LOVING the program!  I can't even being to explain how much I have enjoyed the change of pace in workouts this summer.  I am still a sweaty mess at the end, yet I haven't jumped around and done traditional cardio at all!

Ok so let's get down to it!  Here is the meal plan that I followed last week.

Clean Eating Meal Plan, Meal Planning, Clean Eating, 21 Day Fix Meal Plan, Piyo meal plan
Clean Eating Meal Plan

Unfortunately I did not try any new recipes so I don't have much to share in terms of that.  I do want to note that I am following the 21 Day Fix nutritional plan and have since returned back to color coded meals plans (beginning in Week 6).  Even though my Week 5 plan is not specific to the 21 Day Fix, I have taken the knowledge that I have learned through that program and continually apply it!  In fact, here is a great example!  I made my usual egg whites with grilled veggies and had an Ezekiel English Muffin as opposed to Ezekiel toast.  This is both 21 Day Fix and PiYO approved!

The workouts for Week 5 are as follows:
What is PiYO, Accountability Groups, Clean Eating, Meal Planning, Piyo workouts
PIYO Sculpt
Monday: Sculpt - This one was new and WOW was I sore!  Lots of squats and leg work!
Tuesday: Sweat
Wednesday: Core
Thursday: Drench
Friday: Buns
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Strength Intervals

So, what types of results am I actually seeing with PiYO?
For starters, I am certainly seeing an increase in my flexibility.  In addition, I can tell that my strength has improved as well. When I first started I wasn't able to do any tricep push-ups without being on my knees, and I am now up to about 5 before I need a break!  In addition, I am seeing a noticeable difference in my arm and leg definition, not to mention the increase in strength I am seeing with my core muscles.

What is PiYO, Accountability Groups, Clean Eating, Meal Planning

So, who exactly is PIYO designed for?

Answer:  ANYONE!  No seriously, ANYONE can do PIYO!

I will admit, when I first started I was nervous that it wasn't going to be enough.  I have been working out consistently for well over a year now and am used to programs like T25, P90X3, Turbo Fire, 21 Day Fix, etc.  Boy was I wrong!  Once I got in to Week 3 of PiYO I knew it was perfect!  On the flip side, I have several challengers who have knee, hip, and back troubles and they are still doing great!  There is no jumping, kicking, or any of that traditional cardio, which is a HUGE bonus.  In addition, there is a modifier in every workout so if you are unable to do the regular moves, you can modify!

If you would like to read more about my PiYO progress, feel free to click on the links below!

When I first started doing home fitness programs I used to get up super early and squeeze my workout in before my girls woke up.  Now, I use that as my quiet time to work my Beachbody business.  Why make the change?  Well, I noticed that when I started exercising in front of my girls during the day, they seemed to be interested in what I was doing.  They know that it is my time to exercise and do a great job at playing with each other, snacking, or watching TV for 30 minutes, but they also like to try out what I am doing.  When they glace over at me and see something that looks like they can do, they are all in!  In fact, they LOVE when it is time for me to exercise because they take turns grabbing my yoga mat from the other room and setting it all up for me!  Another great perk of PiYO.  No equipment!

What is PiYO, Accountability Groups, Clean Eating, Meal Planning, 21 Day Fix
It's TOUGH being a young girl, especially being in the pre-teen and teen years!!  As a former sixth grade teacher, I see how self conscious girls get because of their body image.  I was once there too.  So, needless to say, I love that my 2 and 4 year old see that I exercise and make healthy foods.  I love that they know it is a daily priority.  I love that they know the difference between a health and unhealthy snack. Yes, I let them indulge, but not on a daily basis.

 I want them to grow up not stressing about the way their body looks, but instead focusing more on living a healthy life.  The best place for that mindset to start is at home!  It's not something a teacher needs to teach them, it's something that I, as a parent, want to model.  There are too many temptations out there that they could easily fall in to.  By seeing their parents truly live a healthy life, I know that they will have the knowledge on how to make good, healthy choices.

If you are ready to make a change, then now is YOUR time!  Why wait?

I am beginning a Back to School challenge on August 25th.  Click HERE for details!  Be sure to scroll down to Option #2. Throughout the 30 days of the group, I will be providing support, motivation, and accountability to help you reach your health and fitness goals.  You can choose whatever Beachbody Challenge Pack/Program you want! Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Recipe

Once I began eating clean I drastically reduced the amount of pasta that I (and my family) eat; however, we do like to enjoy it every now and then.  So, I switched things up a bit from the traditional pasta, sauce, and meatballs.  I added some protein, veggies, and a few little extras to make this delicious dish!
Note:  when eating pasta, I do limit myself to about 3/4 cup and then I loaded up a bit more on the chicken and broccoli.

Ingredients: (I used the measurements below for my family which consists of my husband, 2 toddler aged daughters, and myself.  There was PLENTY to go around, which meant my husband was able to have some leftovers to take to work.)
Clean Eating, Chicken and Broccoli Pasta
Chicken and Broccoli Pasta
* Whole Wheat rotini or penne pasta
* 1 small head of broccoli
* 4 chicken breasts
* 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken broth
* 1 Tbsp olive oil
* 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
* 1/2 tsp sea salt
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1/2 cup grated FRESH Parmesan cheese (NOT Kraft cheese!)
* 1/2 cup walnuts

Directions:
  1. Cook pasta according to the package directions, adding the broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  2. While pasta is cooking, season chicken breasts and grill until cooked through.  Once cooked, cut up in to chunks and set aside. You can season with a little garlic and lemon.  I used Mrs. Dash's salt-free Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
  3. Drain and return the pasta and broccoli to the pot.
  4. Stir in the chicken broth, chicken, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper
  5. Cook over medium heat for about 4 minutes, tossing frequently until heated through.
  6. Top with cheese and nuts.

Enjoy!

PIYO Week 4 Progress Update and Meal Plan

Ok so I am almost done with Week 5 of PiYO but I haven't posted much about how my week 4 went! Let me fill you in....

So, like any other week, last week was busy!  I knew I would be facing some challenges because of a couple of daily out of town trips, so I made sure I had a plan in place!  For starters, I tried TWO new recipes last week!  The first was called Clean Eating Chocolate Zucchini Muffins.  I was unsure of how they would turn out, so they are not noted on my meal plan below.  I have to say, they were absolutely delicious!  Even my 2 year old loved them! You should definitely give them a try!
Clean Eating, Chocolate Zucchini Muffins
Chocolate Zucchini Muffins

The other new recipe was Stuffed Zucchini .  I have to say, I was a little nervous as to how this was going to turn out.  My husband is not very fond of vegetables and that's about all this dinner included!  I gave him a heads up that I was making it so he was prepared.  I knew right away this dinner would be right up my alley, but I was quite surprised when my husband loved it too!  So, there you have it! A husband-approved vegetable dinner!

Clean Eating, Stuffed Zucchini
Stuffed Zucchini

The rest of my meal plan includes my usual.  I am such a creature of habit!  When I find foods that I like, and are healthy, then I stick to them.  It's like the saying, If it's not broken, why fix it?!  What I DO do is vary my dinners.  I know not everyone is like that, which is why I really try to include some new snacks/meals to give options.

Shakeology, Healthy Breakfast, On the go breakfast
Shakeology
The one meal that you will ALWAYS see on a daily basis (and sometimes twice in a day) is my Shakeology!  I seriously do not know what I would do without it!  It is the one meal, day in and day out, that I truly look forward to! It provides me with energy and definitely helps curb my cravings, just to name a couple of the benefits!  I love that in just one meal I am getting my daily dose of nutrients, not to mention it is delicious!  A huge perk, especially on those extra busy days, is having something that is super convenient!  I mentioned earlier that I had a couple of out of town day trips last week.  It's tough to stay on track when you have days like that!  It's easy to just hit up a drive-thru or bring along a small bag of chips, combos, candy bar, etc in the car.  It's even easier to grab your soda/pop to give you a little extra boost.  I can tell you, I am NOT falling in to that trap again!  Now that I drink Shakeology, I ALWAYS use it when I am going to be in my car for a meal.  I blend it up in the morning, pack it in my cooler with an ice pack, and I'm all set!

Now let's talk PIYO!

PIYO, What is PIYO
PiYO
My Workouts for Week 4 were as follows:
Monday: Sweat - As I've said before, this is one of my favorites!  I am still in awe at how much of a sweat I work up in just 30 minutes of NO jumping, NO running, and NO weights!

Tuesday: Buns - This is quite possibly one of the toughest lower body workouts.  My legs SCREAM every time I do this workout!

PIYO, PIYO Drench
PIYO Drench Workout
Wednesday: Core - I had planned on doing a new workout, Hardcore on the Floor, but I ended up replacing it with Core.  This is a great workout that has really been building up my stomach muscles.

Thursday: Drench - Ok, let's talk Drench for a second.  OH MY GOODNESS!  Yes, it is a longer workout coming in at 46 minutes.  With all of the short Beachbody workouts that have come out within the past few months, 46 minutes seems like a long time, but, it is TOTALLY worth it!! I was seriously DRENCHED by the end!

Friday: Strength Intervals - This workout started in Week 3 and I really enjoy it! It does have more of a cardio feel to it and definitely gets your heart pumping!

Saturday: I took Saturday as a REST day since we were going out of town.

Sunday: Sweat - This was definitely needed after my Saturday night cheat meal :)

So, there you have it!  Week 4 is in the books and I will soon be closing out Week 5!  At first when I saw PiYO was a 60 day program my first thought was, that's a long time!  Especially after doing the 21 Day Fix for the past several months!  Now that I only have a few weeks left, I can honestly say it flew by!  And, I ended up repeating Week 3!

I love that I have my online accountability groups to keep me motivated.  Yes, I am a coach and yes, I run monthly groups where I provide the support, accountability, and motivation to keep everyone on track, but what you may not realize is I need that motivation too!  The challengers that enter in to my groups keep me as much motivated as I do them!

End of Summer Challenge Options!

Ok so first of all, can you BELIEVE that it is AUGUST already?!!  This summer has just flown by for me and I can't believe all of the back to school supplies are EVERYWHERE! I don't know about you, but my Summer has been crazy busy...and definitely fun!  Between our family vacation and weekend trips to amusement parks, family visits, birthday and holiday parties, I have had more than enough opportunities to get myself off track with my eating habits.  I  mean seriously, could those boardwalk French fries smell any more delicious?!  And could the spreads of food at family parties get any bigger?!  Or how about the S'Mores and roasted marshmallows on those cool Summer nights?!

So, although Summer is not over yet and some family vacations have not taken place yet, we are getting down to the wire.  September will be here before we know it!  Although statistics show that people tend to pack on some pounds during the Winter months, Summer is a bit difficult too!  There are so many yummy temptations!  Do I dare ask....did you get sucked in to those temptations? Did you have those big plans at the beginning of Summer to get some exercise in and eat healthier because the weather is nice, you may have some more free time, and/or you know you will be sporting those shorts, tanks, and dare I say, bathing suits?!  Did you come home from your Summer vacation with snug fitting shorts?  I know the feeling all too well!  That vicious cycle happened to me throughout many Summers!

If any of what I am talking about sounds familiar and if you can relate, then I may have something that you are interested in!  I have opened up spots for TWO different health and fitness accountability groups that I will be running in August.  Let me tell you about them!

OPTION #1!

21 Day Fix, Meal Planning, 21 Day Fix accountability groups
21 Day Fix Testimonials
First, I have my most popular group, the 21 Day Fix group beginning on Monday, August 11!  This is currently Beachbody's number one selling program.  Why? Because it combines simple nutrition and 30 minutes exercise into a 21 Day program that gives fast results!  And I am not talking about results in just the form of a number on the scale or measuring tape.  Of course, by following the program you will lose weight and inches, but it's even more than that.  You will learn how to create a healthy lifestyle that both you and your family can adapt to!  It's not about you making something separate for dinner than the rest of your family.  It's about trying to foods, seeing what your family enjoys, and "cleaning" it up a bit.

So, how do my 21 Day Fix groups work?  Well, for starters, if you are ready to commit to living a healthy life, then I will commit to helping you!  The groups lasts for four weeks. For the first full week we spend some time setting realistic goals, taking measurements, and then of course, meal planning!  I provide customized help/support so that you are ready to go for Day 1 of the program.  Each week, including the very first, I post a customizable color coded 21 Day Fix meal plan, like the one posted below.  I give you the file so that you can make changes and add in foods you like and delete foods that just don't work for you!  In addition, we all replace one meal with Shakeology, a super healthy nutritious shake that will provide you with your daily dose of nutrients.  Then, we all go through the 21 Days TOGETHER!  Everyone in the closed online accountability group will check in for the daily mindset tip or motivation and then rate their day in the evening.  There is no fee for the group itself.  The required commitment is purchasing the 21 Day Fix Challenge Pack through me as your coach!

I seriously can not say enough about this program.  I have been running 21 Day Fix groups every 4 weeks since February and I absolutely LOVE the results that each of the challengers get!  Between losing weight/inches and just feeling GREAT, it is all worth it!   Trainer Autumn Calabrese hit this program right on Target! It is truly for ANYONE!  Even if you are a vegan/vegetarian!  The workouts are all 30 minutes each and there is a modifier in each workout so that anyone can do it!

I am accepting 5 more challengers in to my August 11th group!  The last day to place your order for the program will be Sunday, August 10th!

OPTION #2!

Clean Eating, T25, PiYO, Online health and fitness groups
If you are thinking that the 21 Day Fix may just not
be for you, then I've got another option!  On August 25th, I am going to be starting a 30 day general Back to School Challenge!  The group will run similar to the 21 Day fix group in that the first week will be spent on planning and prep (setting goals, taking measurements, and meal planning).  As for the nutrition end, I teach about Clean Eating throughout the group and implement meal planning within.  I will still post my daily mindset tips and weekly  meal plans that can be customized, and we will all replace one meal per day with Shakeology to maximize results.  At the end of the 30 days everyone can decide whether or not to continue with Shakeology. The difference is, everyone can select his/her Beachbody program of choice!  That means, you can get Chalene Johnson's newest program PiYO, or, you can take advantage of one of the awesome August promotions that Beachbody is offering.  T25, 10-Minute Trainer, and the Brazil But Lift challenge packs  have  been temporarily reduced this month!  Seriously, who doesn't have at least 10 minutes in their day to get a great workout in?!   If you are thinking of another Beachbody workout, no problem!  There are tons to choose from!
T25, 10-Minute Trainer, Brazil Butt Lift

BUT, I do want to make something clear.  If you have been interested in trying the popular T25 workout, then this is the month to do it!  It was just announced that this is THE LAST TIME this challenge pack will go on promotion in 2014!  Yikes!!

Spots for this group have JUST opened up!  I am accepting 10 people in to this group!  The group itself does not cost anything.  The requirement is that you commit to a challenge pack program through me as your coach!
