Happy Friday!! I thought it would be a good time for a little progress update! Since coming home from my vacation last month, I've stuck with the 21 Day Fix Extreme program
. I really enjoy the Deluxe workouts (ABC Extreme / Power Strength) as well as the bonus workout that comes with the program (the Fix Challenge), so I've incorporated those in there as well. I have to admit, my nutrition has been OK, but not great. With our family vacation coming up next month, I need to tighten my nutrition back up and maybe even throw in another 3 Day Refresh! So, my plan moving forward is to continue with the 21 Day Fix
/ Extreme nutrition plan and I would also like to incorporate a couple different workout programs. I want to continue with the Extreme workouts, but would also like to add in some PiYO
! I have several challengers in my groups doing PiYO and it made me miss it! I completed PiYo last summer and it was a nice break from the traditional cadio type workouts. I was really impressed that I could get a good workout (and a good sweat!) in without having to jump around!
So, my meal plan that I have been following this past week is shown below. Like I mentioned above, I am sticking with the 21 Day Fix Extreme plan; however, I do allow myself a little cheat each week.

I have tried a couple of new recipes these past two weeks as well!
First up, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cookies
! OMG you HAVE to try these! I was in the mood for a sweat treat and these hit the spot! They tasted like a peanut butter no-bake cookie and we all loved them!

The other night I also tried a new dinner recipe, Pomegranate Chicken
. The best part? It was a crock pot recipe! I made enough for leftovers and was able to make a delicious salad for lunch the following day! Although it wasn't a part of my plan, it was still 21 Day Fix approved :)

As usual, a constant consistent part of my day is Shakeology
. I begin EVERY SINGLE MORNING with it and occasionally like to enjoy it two times within a day! I typically stick with my usual chocolate banana recipe and it never gets old! I especially love it during this time of year because it's a nice cool treat, without the guilt of course! I love the natural energy it provides me as well as the fact that it curbs my cravings, which is perfect since it's "ice cream season!"
As I mentioned above, I am planning on incorporating PiYO with my 21 Day Fix Extreme workouts. It will be a nice balance of workouts and I am excited to create a schedule this weekend! It's been quite a week for me. Life just got crazy between an out of town husband and sick kid BUT, I did make sure to get my workout in. Some of them may have been much later than I wanted and others were in between my daughters naps, but, I did it! I treat my workouts as a priority and non-negotiable part of my day.
