Can you believe it is MAY already?! After a DREADFULLY long Winter and up and down temps through early Spring, it seems that some warmer weather is FINALLY here!! We spent our first weekend pretty much all outside getting porch furniture cleaned / set up, building campfires, and of course, running around with the girls. Hopefully wherever you are reading this from, you experienced some nice weather as well! These warmer temps have cause me to pull out my summer shorts too! Yay!! BUT, not everyone gets excited for that. I certainly didn't in the past. In fact, I had a VERY limited supply of shorts in the past. I typically stuck with capris and crop pants. Since I started taking better care of myself, things have drastically changed. This before and after picture is almost exactly 4 years apart. In between those 4 years I even had another baby! Not to my surprise, looking back, I couldn't find too many pictures of myself after that happened. After realizing that I needed to make change and that I need to get past my excuses, I decided that it was time. Clean Eating, daily exercising, Shakeology, and joining an accountability group were the changes that I made. I've never looked back since! I feel good in my skin and more importantly, I am HEALTHY. Yes, it takes some hard work to get there, but once you feel the benefits, I guarantee you won't go back.

One program in particular really changed my eating habits and made me much more aware of what, 21 Day Fix
. While I started my journey months prior to the 21 Day fix coming out and did have great success, it really wasn't until I got this program that things started to change. I realized I was over eating on HEALTHY food and my knowledge on nutritional dense food increased. On top of that, the workouts are amazing! As a work from home mom of two toddlers, my time is definitely limited. So, having 30 minute workout PLUS, incorporating weights within the workouts, really changed my body. For me, it's not necessarily about seeing the number on the scale go down. Yes, that's great when that happens, but, I focus on how I feel and how my clothes are fitting. When the 21 Day Fix Extreme
came out, I was so excited to give it a try. The food plan was pretty similar
except that there were some eliminations, but the workouts got even better! The intensity increased just enough to make a difference. You see, these programs come with these awesome little portion control containers so that you know exactly how much you should be eating. As you can see from either picture, while the containers may look small, the actual portion sizes don't! It's amazing!

While I started drinking Shakeology prior to the 21 Day Fix, it is also incorporated into the program. Shakeology
has really been a game changer for me. I often hear people say "I can't drink a meal" "I don't want to drink shakes all day" "I'm not a shake person" or "It's too expensive." The thing is, Shakeology isn't just a shake that can help you lose weight. It's a natural shake that contains your daily dose of nutrients. It's a shake that you can enjoy guilt-free instead of the sweets or junk that you may be eating. It's a shake that provides you with energy, curbs your cravings, improves your digestion, and could potentially help get you off some of your medication! I've had clients that have been able to reduce and/or eliminate both blood pressure and cholesterol meds after consistent use of Shakeology, healthy eating, and exercising.

On top of that, Shakeology costs a customer approximately $4.40 per day. As a preferred member or Coach, you can get it for $3.32 per day! Now, let's think about this. If you pack your lunch or if you eat out, are you really spending less than that AND getting the same nutritional benefits? Or better yet, are your mornings crazy like mine? Do you tend to resort to a bagel, a bowl of cereal, a breakfast sandwich or even worse, skip breakfast all together? I personally like to begin my day with Shakeology. It starts me out on a healthy note, it's quick, easy, convenient, and keeps me full for about 2 1/2 hours until I eat my oatmeal or eggs. So, I am not "drinking shakes all day" and I am eating plenty of actual food!I actually eat 4 other meals each day!

My excitement and passion towards this program continues. About every
four weeks I run an online accountability group to help my customers
successfully get through either the 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix Extreme along with Shakeology.
The changes that I have made are what I
help with and incorporate in my online accountability groups. I provide
my tips, meal plans, consistent group and 1:1 support. In addition, I
provide daily motivation and accountability in helping each and every
person reach his or her goals. We take it one step at a time, one meal
at a time, and one workout at a time. I LOVE the groups because we are
all working towards the same main goal of getting healthy. It's also nice to interact and make new friends!!

So, I am inviting you on this wonderful health and fitness journey! Beginning on Monday, May 11th, I am hosting a FIX UP FOR SUMMER accountability group! We will begin with a planning and prep week which includes taking measurements, setting goals, learning about meal planning, and getting physically and mentally prepared for the start of the program. Then, we will kick off Day 1 of the 21 days the following Monday! You will create positive, healthy habits that will take you through Summer feeling confident in YOUR skin!
