Good Wednesday Morning!! Boy do I have a lot to share with you today! So, it's been just over one week since I started Shaun T's newest home fitness program, CIZE, and I am LOVING it! I'll be honest, last April when I first heard this new program was coming out, I was a bit hesitant. Sure, I like to dance, but would it REALLY get me a good workout? I trusted my gut, which told me that Shaun T would NEVER release anything that would be a waste of time or give a lack of results, so, there really wasn't any question of whether or not I would purchase it.

Fast forward three months where just over a week ago I was at a huge Coach Conference called Coach Summit, where I had the opportunity to do a LIVE CIZE workout with Shaun T himself. Ok, so I have to admit, it was the group of lovely ladies I was with that REALLY wanted to do Cize. I actually preferred to register for a different workout but figured I'd go with my group and sign up. I have to say, it was probably one of my best decisions of that entire trip! First of all, the energy was indescribable! Secondly, I was DRIPPING in sweat!! I couldn't believe that DANCING for 30 minutes would be such a GREAT workout! In fact, I woke up sore the next morning, which is a sign that the workout certainly did it's job! Needless to say I was pretty excited to come home and get started with the program.

So, here I am in the middle of Week 2 and truly enjoying this new type of exercise! I seriously look forward to my workout every day! So here's the thing... Often times I hear people say that they can't workout because of their kids. They HAVE to go to a gym or they just can't make themselves a priority because they don't have time. I get it!! I used to say the SAME THING (well, not the gym part)! I started doing home fitness programs when my daughters were 1 and 3 years old. Yes, they ran around me. Yes, they tried to crawl on my back while doing push ups. But guess what? They LEARNED that Mommy was going to be exercising every day. And they LEARNED that they were not suppose to be jumping all over me. And you know what? They eventually started to jump right in with me! No, they don't work out with me EVERY SINGLE DAY. But they ARE in the same room as me! Cize has taken that to a whole new level! The music is great and my 5 year old actually asked me if what I was doing was really "exercising!"
So, when I told her that this was a new type of exercise and that it was really fun, she decided to join in with me! Below is a workout called Crazy 8's. It was Day 2 of the program.

CIZE Meal Planning
If you have experience with the 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, or Insanity Max 30, then the meal planning component will be familiar to you. If you DON'T have experience, then let me briefly explain. Cize comes with a color coded portion control plan where you are provided with food lists for each type of nutrient. You can use the color coded containers if you have them from a program mentioned above; however, you do not need them. Your diet consists of fruits, vegetables,
carbs, proteins, healthy fats, seed/oils, and nut butters. You are provided with food lists, which are ordered in nutritional value, and you are free to select which foods you would like to eat. The serving size is listed next to each food so there is no question or confusion as to how much you should be eating. Below is a video that I created for my Cize Test Group. I go through the entire "Eat Up" eating plan book that comes with the program and provide some meal planning tips for getting started. There is a unique "meal builder" section at the end of the book that gives you TONS of ideas for grilling, making omelets, salads, wraps, stir fry, oatmeal, and a lot more! Check out the video for more info on that!
So what DOES a Cize Meal Plan look like? It looks pretty similar to my other plans because there is no trick to eating healthy! It really doesn't change much from one program to the next! As always, I incorporate my Shakeology for breakfast daily. My Shakeology ensures that I am getting my daily dose of nutrients and it provides me with natural energy and of course, curbs my cravings! I love having a morning "chocolate fix"!

If you follow me at all, or if you are familiar with Beachbody, then you may know about a FANTASTIC little cookbook, called Fixate that was just released a couple of days ago. It has 101 healthy recipes, many of which are kid-friendly, Paleo, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free! Well, this cookbook goes RIGHT IN LINE WITH CIZE and it's color coded portion control system!
No, it does not come with the program. It is something you would need to purchase separately.

Of all of the recipes we could have tried first, we picked BROWNIES!! They were actually Flourless Chocolate Brownies! The girls LOVED them, which was great because I didn't feel guilty about giving some to them.
