Country Heat Week 4
Country Heat is officially COMPLETE!! What happened in Week 4? What is my overall opinion of the program? Who exactly is it for? Don't worry, I've got you covered!
For starters, there are no new workouts in Week 4 which means you can really focus on repeating your final 8 workouts with as much effort and drive as possible. I say 8 workouts because once you complete Week 4, there are two more workouts to do in Week 5. In fact, on the last day you get to pick whatever your favorite workout is! I chose Down and Dirty! Below you will see my meal plan that I used for my final week, as well as the order of workouts. I really liked that the final week schedule included all of the workouts because it was a nice change each day!
As you know, planning out, prepping, and sticking to your planned meals is super important! While I did lose 4 inches overall (which I am happy with), I know it could have been more if I would have put a bit more focus on my daily food intake.

Week 4 Meal Plan:
Country Heat Meal Plan
I didn't try any new recipes, but I did want to share with you one of my staple morning snack recipes: Mini Veggie Egg Muffins! I love these because they are a super easy / quick recipe, and it provides me with 3 days worth of my mid-morning snack!
Mini Veggie Egg Muffins
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 6 large eggs
- sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 5 oz Baby Spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, finely sliced
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Lightly coat muffin tin with spray.
3. Place eggs in a large blow, whisk to blend, and season with salt and pepper if desired.
4. Evenly pour egg mixture into muffin cups.
5. Fill green 21 Day Fix container with veggie mixture and separate in
to 2 egg cups at a time. You will fill the container a total of 3 times
in order to split among all 6 egg cups.
6. Bake for approx. 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center of cups comes out clean.
**Store in refrigerator and heat up in microwave when ready to eat. Remember, you get TWO per serving!**
I, of course, also stuck with my daily Shakeology and still do! You really can't go wrong with it! Why WOULDN'T you want to drink a milkshake every day? Oh, and one that is healthy too!! It really doesn't get any easier. It takes a couple of minutes to blend up and go each morning (which is GREAT for busy parents!). While not required, I DO suggest incorporating Shakeology for at least your first round of Country Heat. You want to get the best results possible and Shakeology will provide you with nutrients that you most likely don't and won't get otherwise. It will also give you that natural boost of energy and curb your cravings for those darn temptations that are constantly surrounding us.

So what are my overall thoughts on the program?
Country Heat Week 4
Honestly, I truly believe this program can be adapted for ANYONE at ANY fitness level. Are some of the moves tricky? YES! But don't worry! There is a move breakdown of each program that you can watch (it's optional) so that you can make sure you are using the correct form. Also, you get to do each workout a few times within the scheduled week so by the end of the week you are pretty good at it! The nutrition is on point with this program as well. If you have read my past reviews then you know it follows the color coded container system (developed from the 21 Day Fix). While it does take some time to plan out at first, it's actually really simple! You complete a formula to figure out how many of each container you get, pick foods from each of the food lists (which offer a ton of variety), and plug them in to your day!
I admit, this program was stepping me out of my comfort zone. I typically like more intense and traditional workouts but this was just what my body needed. It provided me with enough of a challenge while still increasing my heart rate and giving me a great sweat each day! If you aren't interested in using weights / equipment and just want a good cardio workout that has fun Country music, then this is definitely for you!
Country Heat Week 4
Another thing that I REALLY liked about this program is that it was something that my 4 and 6 year old daughters loved too! It has become super important to me these past few years to show just how essential your health is. By doing those little things like exercising in front of the girls (even when they were babies), talking about healthy foods vs non healthy foods, and just being an overall healthy role model for them has made them aware of their choices. Now don't get me wrong. They are not 100% healthy when it comes to eating. Yes, they like their junk and would probably pick any type of junk over something like veggies any day of the week! They're kids! But they get it!! They get what they should and shouldn't have and have developed a great balance. In terms of Country Heat, they had a blast working out with me, which made this program even more fun!! They didn't do the workouts every single day but there were PLENTY of times when one of them would ask "when I was dancing" each day. You can catch videos of them in my other Country Heat reviews.
